For those who might be living under a rock, Ubisoft had just released the reveal trailer for “Beyond Good and Evil 2”. Attendees of E3 last week was wowed with the amazing CGI trailer that featured a lot of anthropomorphized animals and high-octane chase sequences.

Michel Ancel, creative director to Ubisoft, had toped the reveal with the recent release of a 15-minute gameplay. The demo features:

  • Smaller spaceships that can fly out of the “mother ship”
  • The player’s capability of going around the cities in a jetpack
  • A massive scale of rich locations
  • A real night and day cycle based on actual revolution of planets around the sun.

These promises have been the ambition of just about every gamer. And we’re really hoping that this tech demo would be just as exciting as the real thing.

Games such as “Mass Effect: Andromeda” and “No Man’s Sky” seem to have promised the feature that lets a player fly his/her own space ship, but had fallen short.

Ubisoft’s “Beyond Good and Evil 2” is set to be released sometime in 2018 or later.
