An upcoming Hollywood film, “The Foreigner” follows restaurant owner Jackie Chan as he seeks revenge over the death of his teenage daughter.

Ngoc Minh Quan (Chan) goes to lengths to find the identity of the Irish terrorists who bombed a locality of London that had claimed his daughter’s life. Along the way, Quan gets entangled with the British government through one Liam Henessey whose past might just break or make the case.

Featuring a wholly different Jackie Chan, “The Foreigner” is set to be released on October 13, 2017.

The film is based on the 1992 novel, “The Chinaman” written by Stephen Leather. The movie is directed by “Casino Royale” director, Martin Campbell.
