Hugh Jackman Expresses Interest In Playing Wolverine Again in the “Avengers”

Could it really be his last? Well, Hugh Jackman got Marvel comic book fans climbing walls in his recent reported statement. Upon being asked if film properties didn’t complicate matters for comic book movie adaptations, Jackman clearly stated that “… I probably wouldn’t have said this is the last.” Of course the Australian beefcake is referring to his alter ego, Logan.

Jackman has been playing the character, who is almost inseparable from him for a good two decades, and as artists in the west are characterized, they have the penchant of leaving roles so as to grow their career further. They’re progressive like that. And nobody wants to get stuck in one place right?

But to see Jackman’s Logan interacting with the more colorful Marvel Studios characters would be such a sight to see. It would have been a riot seeing him written in the cinematic “Civil War” arc and the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War”!

However, right now, no plans (that we know of) had been disclosed regarding the meeting of the two Marvel universes. Fact of the matter is, the possibility seems really far-off given the arcs and the writing that the two have been getting. And did we mention that film rights are an issue?

But we could all dream right?
