All Work and No Play: Bethesda Director Todd Howard On the Numerous Projects in the Studio

Various projects abound in Bethesda Game Studios and director Todd Howard is a lead who knows how to juggle.

bethesda-vr-e3-2016-doom-fallout-6812-006In a report, Howard had stated that Bethesda Softworks is currently undertaking 7 projects already inclusive of the two popular titles in new incarnations: “Fallout 4” entirely playable in VR and “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” fitted for Nintendo Switch.

Announced at E3 2016, “Fallout 4” players would be thrilled to know that no content had been removed or modified for the sake of making it conducive for VR. The work being undertaken on it has plenty to do with the players’ dynamics and interaction with the VR experience such as locomotion. Much of it, Howard had reported, is interface work.

Interestingly, a mobile game is also slated among the ongoing projects which Howard had disclosed to be following the fan-favorite post-nuclear strategy and simulation. “Fallout Shelter”.

JQUUCThe Director, who is about to be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame this 23rd of February, assured fans that the studio is always caught in multiple pipelines that see neither compromise or deceleration as the team at Bethesda is never short of good focus.

Wanting to excite fans more, Howard had expressed that the other two projects within their roster are “bigger” compared to what they had done in the past. He further stated that the projects are somewhat “different” than what the studio usually does, but nevertheless resonate with it is popularly known for.
