VR, No Future on Nintendo Switch?

Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo America and COO recently commented on VR on Switch.
The COO was quoted during Variety‘s Entertainment and Tech Summit, that not much fun stuff could be had with VR. He goes on to saying that no plans in the immediate future can be seen with VR as far as its integration with Switch.
This might seem ironic as last year, after Switch’s patent had been filed, the unit was showed with a VR accessory. In addition, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima stated in an interview that should they overcome the issues with VR, Switch shall support it through certain means.
However, Fils-Aime is hopeful that the future of video game home consoles remains full of potential.
