Creed II Finally Gets a Director; Stallone and Jordan Approves

Already known across by Hollywood and Rocky fans, Sylvester Stallone is slated to direct Creed II. But recent developments have the talented actor and director looking the other way. News has it that both actor Michael B. Jordan and Stallone had already chosen a young filmmaker to direct.

Steven Caple Jr., director to 2016’s The Land. The script for the movie had been penned by Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker (Luke Cage Showrunner). The movie is said to move forward with production in Philadelphia in March. The film is slated to be released on November 21st the same year.

Teasing fans, Stallone stated that there will be a bloody battle between Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) and Adonis Creed.

Creed, which came out back in 2015, garnered a total of $173 Million at the worldwide box office. Sylvester Stallone bagged a Golden Globe Best Supporting actor award and an Oscar nod.
