Jason-Momoa-Aquaman-PicturesJust like its order of release, the events within Jason Momoa’s “Aquaman” would take place after the events in “Justice League”. This was confirmed through an interview with producer Charles Roven.

According to Roven, “Aquaman” would be making references to some instances within the “Justice League” movie. Compounding things further, the producer claimed that the events within the other films that preceded it would affect the movie’s narrative. As such it is an obvious departure from the nature of this year’s “Wonder Woman” which precludes “Man of Steel”, “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice”, “Suicide Squad”, and “Justice League”. This had given a great deal of wiggle room for both the director and the writing pool’s creativity.

AquamanWhile thrown shade by non-comic book readers for his misunderstood abilities, Aquaman is considered to be a big icon in the community for 75 years. He has an impressive power and skill set which includes formidable fighting abilities, communication with all sea life, and control over the waters, making him a feared ruler of the 7 seas.

James Wan takes the reins in both directing and writing along with Will Beall and Geoff Johns. Slated for a December 21, 2018 release, “Aquaman” stars, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ludi Lin, Patrick Wilson and Nicole Kidman.
