BlizzCon 2016 Brings In The Excitement

Blizzard Entertainment had opened the 10th annual BlizzCon over the weekend with a spectacle that only Blizzard can deliver.
72548483BlizzCon 2016, which ran from November 4 to 5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, is extra special as this year is Blizzard’s 25th anniversary in the industry. The company’s long industry experience bore witness to a string of successful game releases such as “World of Warcraft”, “Diablo”, “StarCraft”, “Hearthstone” and most recently, “Overwatch”.
The opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2016’s first day was filled with updates of Blizzard’s existing games:
With “Overwatch”, the company had introduced a new hero into the game’s colorful cast of characters. The character is named Sombra, an infamous hacker.
overwatch-sombra-696x330Also a cause for excitement for “Overwatch” fanatics, coming soon is what Blizzard is calling, the “Overwatch League”. It is a world-class ecosystem for “Overwatch” where teams and players can interact to greater hone camaraderie and community.
The third and final Nova Mission Pack, “StarCraft II” is set to be released on the 22nd of November.
diablo_iii_coverIn “Diablo III: Reaper of Souls”, players would be brought back to the game’s origins. Set in the deep Cathedral, players would be given a treat as they dive 16 levels deep to face old diabolical foes, specifically, the original 4 main bosses from “Diablo”, the first game.
Also on “Diablo: Reaper of Souls”, the “Rise of the Necromancer” pack would hit stores in 2017. The “Necromancer” pack allows its users to master and practice the dark arts with death as their primary source.
These are only a few of the exciting things that are in store for Blizzard fans. On top of this, competitions and developer panels were also held in BlizzCon 2016’s first day. And like icing to the cake, the halls of the Anaheim Convention Center was filled with cosplays that exhibited fan creativity.
